Hey I've had a great idea, inspired by the line "They did not want to read anything the machine said (perhaps they would have preferred to talk to it)";

Imagine that this was a spoken process. Her response would probably have been "I don't know". OK add a button for that!

Then explain what a macro is and that if this is a document she created herself, then it is fine. Restate the question and it's done (And remember the answer for this worksheet - NOT in those places which get cleaned by 'crap cleaner' etc).

Alternatively just shut down the program with another dialog box stating: "If you don't know what your doing you shouldn't be sitting in that chair".

I was once fired for writing a macro for an HR dept which limited the input into a 'month' field to number 1-12. when the user pressed 0, or 13+, it popped up a reminder that there are only 12 months in a year. Upon another incorrect entry, it reminded them that here are STILL only 12 months in a year. After 4incorrect inputs in a row, the dialog told theythey were a 'f***ing moron'

Someone REALLY did it, and I was fired - go figure.
