SSK Mists are Clearing

Recently, I posted about my confusion over the MS Shareware Starter Kit. Well, the mists of confusion are lifting, a little. The account that I noted previously as having expired before I even signed-up appears to be active, although I have now understood a little bit more about the role of the DotNetNuke functionality… that is, the functionality is embedded within the sharewarestarterkit.com website, not a seperate account on the DNN site.

However, I am still experiencing problems which I have no answer for as yet. Like, I was just learning about DNN functionality, I logged-in as adminstrator to the DNN within the SSK site, and now I can’t do anything there. Perhaps the machine is down or offline for backup or something?

Aaaargghhhh!

[Several Hours Later]… I seem to be able to get back on to the SSK site, but once again, after a few minutes of looking around the admin areas of the site, it has stopped responding. What is going on?

UPDATE:

I emailed the contact on the SSK site, observing some of the issues with the DNN aspects of the site, and I did get an email back saying they were aware of some of the issues and working on a fix.  Great!  Except, I want it now. (Did I mention I was impatient?) Don’t get me wrong, I know that I have no right to this development service, but it’s so frustrating to know that something is out there that should do what I need ~ but right now it can’t.
